Many of you have been along for the ride as I blistered my feet upon the ragged road that is a writing career. For that alone I want to offer my thanks. This year, however, I’m upping the ante a bit.
WordFire Press is launching the new Chemical Burn at Denver Comic Con this year. The first volume of Jake Lasater’s five-book Blood War Chronicles is due out in September, with book two expected in December. I’ll also have a “How To Digital and Print” book out this year that I suspect many of my writing friends will be interested in.
My convention schedule is filling up, and it looks like I’ll even be at WorldCon for the first time this year. I’ll be visiting cities like Dallas, Spokane, Atlanta, and Connecticut. I may even end up in New York, Miami, Ohio, and a few other great American cities.
What this all means is that I now need to start communicating with my readers on a more regular basis and via more effective means. I’ll be sending out a semi-regular newsletter (don’t worry, it won’t be more than once or twice a month), that will include book release announcements and upcoming convention appearances.
My hope is that you’ll sign up for my newsletter and let me keep you in the know as I continue to make my way towards the dream of becoming a full-time author. I can’t do it without you, and aside from buying my books and writing positive reviews, the best way you can help me is by signing up for my newsletter. I give you my word that I will be the only person who has access to it, and I will only use it to inform you of what’s happening next on my journey.
So, if you’d like to keep on top of my ongoing list of titles and appearances, please fill out this little form so I can keep you in the know.
