My first commission, a buddy of mine wanted to give a custom French Chef to his son for graduation. The young man is interested in becoming a chef. The steel is 1084 shaped, forged, and tempered. With a full tang, I made a combination layered micarta and brass grip with a brass pommel. The steel was then blued for both show and protection.
