So, with all the spare time I have from month to month – yeah right! – I managed to put together a growing list of songs that go along with Blood Ties and the whole Blood War series. It’s like my own little Jake Lasater soundtrack. I’ll definitely add more over the next couple of years as I write the next five books (#2 is about to hit the editorial stage and is due out first quarter of next year), but I wanted to share with you the music that I’ve fired up to carry me along Jake’s epic journey from clockwork privateer to world savior.
Like most of my playlists, this is an eclectic mix of styles and sounds, but in all cases there’s something in the song that expresses a moment or feeling or setting straight out of the story.
